New OTR (Out of Tracked Range) Movement Logic
We’ve updated how movement is displayed when a keyword is Out of Tracked Range (OTR) according to our Hybrid Tracking Model.
Previously, movement could look inconsistent when a keyword moved in or out of the tracked positions. With the new logic, movement indicators now behave predictably and match how Hybrid tracking works:
- If a keyword is OTR today or OTR on the comparison date, movement will show “N/A” when the data can’t be compared.
- When we fill gaps using Maintain Continuous Rank (MCR), and the value is the same, movement now shows “–” to indicate no change.
This improves clarity and avoids misleading movement values when keywords fall outside the Top positions collected under the Hybrid model.
