Share of Voice just got a major accuracy upgrade

We’ve improved how Share of Voice is calculated to give you a more precise, time-aware view of competitive visibility for your keywords. As a result, your charts may look different, reflecting a more precise view of search visibility over time.

Instead of updating on a fixed daily schedule, Share of Voice now refreshes continuously as keywords are scraped. That means fresher data and more responsive insights.

Previously, the top 10 competitors on your SOV chart were based on the most recent rankings, even when viewing a historical date range. Now the chart shows who the top competitors actually were during the period you’re viewing. If a competitor dominated your space 6 months ago but has since dropped off, you’ll see them where they belonged, giving you a much more accurate picture of how your competitive landscape evolved over time.

You may notice shifts in historical trends. Those changes reflect a more precise calculation designed to better capture movements in search visibility.
